Winter Wonderland

It's been fantastic to see the students enjoy the recent snowfall! I know it significantly complicates life for those with livestock, but the kids sure enjoy it! Mr. Gelderman has been teaching our grade 4/5/6 students about winter survival skills - which might just be an excuse to go play in the snow!

Annual Education Results Report

Over the past few weeks, I have worked on our school’s Annual Education Results Report and Education Plan. These reports are guiding/planning documents for the next three years based on provincial data, specifically, the Accountability Survey and Provincial Achievement Test results. Last week, I reviewed these reports with our school council and published the report on the school website. In summary, the survey and PAT results are excellent! Our students, parents, and staff see Brownfield Community School as a safe and caring school that offers opportunities to learn, participate fully, and be supported through challenges. Well done, Brownfield students, families, and staff!
